In my classroom Writing is one of my pull-out groups. I typically have a group of three-four students during this time. We all sit at one of the tables and I begin by modeling what good writing looks like. I then review with each student what they have been working on from the previous day. We begin by always writing our words first. Some of my students are able to sound out the words on their own, some need verbal cues from me, and some utilize our alphabet visuals to help them.
