This upcoming school year I will be starting at a new school! I am very excited for this new opportunity especially since I have already been teaching my students. I am lucky enough to be followoifng them to their new school as well. As much as I am excited, I am also nervous. I will be teaching with a new team of teachers as well as multiple teams. My new positions consists of teaching multiple grade levels (1-3).
The opportunity for this position came unexpectedly. It was in the midst of my last week of school this past year and everything fell into place! For once I was in the right place at the right time. Who knew!?! Overall my excitement is met with anxiety over meeting the teams I will be working with, being in a new school, and dare I say setting up my room 😬. I have been scouring Pinterest for classroom layout ideas and eagerly bought new classroom decor from Target ( must stay away….who am I kidding, see you soon). Getting this out helped, but I guess there is “nothing to it but to do it”.
